Antonio Sadler
“Giving someone a chance is the perfect opportunity to build genuine loyalty and transparency – you may be shocked to see that these are some of the most capable and creative people around.”
Antonio Sadler’s second chance came by way of a former administrator who saw potential in him while he was still incarcerated. She saw him energetically take advantage of every opportunity to better himself, including accessing ViaPath’s communication and free education offerings. In fact, this father of two credits those services and resources with keeping him connected to his family and providing access to critical information that kept him focused on his future. Upon release, he was an ideal, motivated candidate.
Today, Antonio’s story has come full-circle modeling as a true ViaPath resource for other incarcerated individuals. As a member of the ViaPath team, he feels seen, purpose-driven and rewarded. He’s been given the space and opportunity to identify strengths and face new challenges with the support of his colleagues, mentors, and counselors. And he credits it all to an opportunity that many formerly incarcerated never get.
