Jessica L. Artz
Chief Human Resource Officer
Jessica L. Artz is the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer of ViaPath Technologies. In this role, she is responsible for the company’s strategic Human Resources (HR) functions.
These include talent acquisition, talent management, and strategic HR business partner support. Artz also leads the company’s corporate social responsibility, employee engagement and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. In addition, she oversees the execution of key operational functions such as Marketing and Communications, Facilities, and Administration. Artz also leads the Reintegration and Community Engagement function, where she focuses on providing tools, resources, and support systems for individuals reintegrating into their communities post incarceration.
Before joining ViaPath in 2016, Artz spent four years with General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) as Director of Human Resources for a $1.25 billion, 4,000 employee business unit, implementing major strategic planning and employee engagement & training programs. Prior to joining GDIT, Artz was an international human resources manager for Computer Sciences Corporation, where she developed and administered all international human resources functions for the company’s more than 1,300 forward-deployed and international staff for the $6 billion sector.
Artz earned her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Wheeling Jesuit University and a Master of Arts in human resources management through Marymount University. She has held a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation since 2011 and is a longstanding member of the Society for Human Resources Management and remains an active member of the World at Work Compensation Association.
